What Is King Maker?

King Maker is a a modification based during The Wars of The Roses. That being a period of civil unrest in Northern England from 1455 until 1487. The two raging kingdoms were The House of Lancaster and The House of York. King Maker is meant to re-construct this time of civil unrest and balance of powers. As you will notice, there aren't any dragons or wizards, only period-appropriate weapons, armour, and battle settings.

Is King Maker For Half-Life, or Half-Life II?

King Maker will start out as a Half-Life modification, which will be a more simple (and as bug-free as possible) version. This is meant to give the team and mod a foothold to use to build up and become a better game, providing more features, more substance and an overall better gameplay in kingmaker for Half-Life 2.

Simply put... No, you cannot. Many people firmly believe in the power of magic, unfortunately there is no historical record of any such magic being used in any battle during the Wars of the Roses.

What Type Of Settings Are The Levels In?

Our Historian and Level Designers are hard at work researching historical battle areas, viewing paintings and artist renditions of the battles, so all area's will be as close as can be represented in 3D. Such area's will include small villages, towns, forests, countryside, and of course castle sieges. If you have any suggestions or recommendations on battles and preferred maps, please don't hesitate to visit our forums and tell us about it!
